Level 7 [video/action for Sprout Tower]

_{[The scene is dim, lit only by candles and the soft glow of streetlights coming through the windows of Sprout Tower. Ralph has his 'gear angled down at his feet where there are about six curious Rattata. He's sitting on the floor and pitching pieces of what looks like soda crackers to them.]

[This is what Ralph does with his nights these days.]}

These little guys are pretty friendly. I think the whole thing about this place bein' haunted was a load of bologna. I haven't seen a single ghost the whole time I've been here. They were right about the place bein' kinda wobbly though.

This place could do with some foundation work.

_{[He's quiet for a little while after that and just focuses on keeping the camera right-side up and angled on the purple rats.]}

I think I'm gonna try getting the medal for this place and then blowin' outta town. It's gonna take a while, though, because Rocky's only on level nineteen. My pal told me he's my best bet.

Yeah well...who knows what happened back there while she was gone?

...Even if they're just innocently gathering around you, hoping for food? Does she ever attack her teammates?

Were you going to try to catch one? With as friendly as they are I don't think they'd object.

[ While Saber's not experienced it herself, she's seen a number of others come and go so her confidence in the matter is astounding. To her it is no untruth. ]

Time stands still. Even if you meet someone from a different point in time, it remains stationary for all until they return. You could ask anyone experienced in the matter and they will reassure you that it is the truth.

Sometimes--especially Sonic. She hates it when he sits on my shoulder. I've got two of 'em, I don't know why she can't share.

...Maybe she has a particular reason to be very territorial?

Is bein' territorial an armadillo thing? 'Cause I don't know much about armadillos... She's also a little pick pocket.

To tell you the truth, I kinda liked campin' in between towns more than either of 'em.

[It isn't long after Ralph's sent out his message over the network that Mary comes padding into Sprout Tower; she hasn't seen said message, but it's her first night in Violet City, so she's doing what any other nosy child would do in a new place: explore. She stops at the entrance, seemingly entranced by the interior of the building, until she notices Ralph, at which point she becomes entranced by him. Not that she means to be rude, but he's a pretty big dude -- even bigger than all the other adults she's encountered -- and staring isn't something she's been told not to do yet. As if that weren't enough, after a long few moments of just looking at him, she steps closer to exclaim,]

You're really big!

[...Thank you, Mary.]

Sandshrews learn Poison Sting, don't they? I would have been twice as appropriate.

Ah, really? I always found that part really boring. It would be really cool if Pokémon attacked at night or something, but nothing like that's ever happened to me!

[Ryuunosuke, what are you.]

I guess I won't go too far out of my way to see it then. Nice to meet you Ralph.

_{[Ralph looks up from fiddling with his gear, no doubt sending a reply to somebody (or maybe trying to figure out how to delete duplicate pictures of the Rattatta he's been taking because huge fingers and tiny buttons never meshed well).]

[He raises a brow at her observation but doesn't feel like she means any harm.]}

And you're really little. What'r you doin' in this spooky old place at night?

Oh, she knows how to use it, believe me.

Maybe you're campin' in the wrong spots because I've seen plenty of critters runnin' around at night.

Don't get me wrong, it's a neat place, but if you're lookin' for interesting wildlife, yeah, I'd go somewhere else.

...Only in nice, normal battles against wild Pokémon and other trainers, right?
