_{[When the feed flips on, it doesn't show a back alley. Or a pizza parlor. Or the street. Not even the sewer! Instead, it shows the great outdoors. The sprawling route from Goldenrod to Violet stretches out to the horizon. The sun is drifting downward and turning the whole world orange and purple. The view is from rather high up as well. This is made obvious by the few flying-types that dart past the camera.]}

Would ya take a look at that? And to think I stayed in that boring city for months with this ten steps out my front door!

_{[Ralph angles the camera down through the branches of the tree he's hanging from to show off the little camp site he and Vanellope have put together.]}

And here we have--wh... She was there a second ago. HEY, KID! WHERE'D YOU GO? I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET EATEN BY ANTYHING! Hang on a sec, I'll be back.

I DIDN'T GET EATEN!

[Just hold on, jeez.

...Or not, because that branch has a pretty good hold of her hair. It takes a second, but she's soon calling out again.]

_{[Ralph shoves the g'ear into his back pocket and leans out from the tree's trunk to try and figure out which direction her voice is coming from.]}

WHAT DID I JUST TELL YOU?

Oh, you big, st--HOW 'BOUT YOU QUIT LECTURING AND HELP THE POOR, TRAPPED GIRL, INSTEAD, YOU DONUT.

[If she becomes one with the trees, she'll be so mad.]

The city isn't that boring, sir!

[Speaking of the city, Ryuunosuke seems to be outdoors ~~for once~~ seated in the grass not all that far from Goldenrod. His Liepard is resting beside him in the grass.]

But you're right, the routes are pretty cool! Are you leaving town?

_{[He finally spots the little racer and climbs her way.]}

Alright, hang on, hang on. Be still or you'll make it worse. What'n the world were you tryin' to do?

[Oh good, the friendly giant has arrived. She shifts a little bit as she relaxes, scratching the back of her leg with her shoe.]

What, you're the only one allowed to climb trees? [Shrug.] I wanted to see how far we were. From this Violet place.

Racers belong on the ground.

_{[He reaches out to carefully untangle her from the branches. Nobody likes having their hair pulled. Once she's free, he plunks her on his shoulder where she can hang on.]}

We should be able to see it in a couple more days. You excited? This game is big.

I dunno about you, but I get sick of looking at the same walls every day. We're on a vacation, I guess. S'good for your health and all that stuff.

You're tellin' me. But the forest back in Sugar Rush was much easier, okay?

[Ah, she likes this new perch much better, and she takes the time she now has to redo her scrunchie, trusting Ralph to catch her if she falls.]

I guess so. I mean, I already like it out here! [Besides, the 'Alice' girl was in Violet, and Vanellope still had mixed feelings over that.] But I do wanna see all the levels. I wonder if this one'll be as big as Goldenrod City...

Folks I've talked to said it's a lot smaller. The buildings probably aren't as big, so the view might not be great. And no Rocket base either.

[That only elicits a shrug from the girl.]

People there are mean, anyway. I can't believe we're still supposed to send them pokemon and stuff while we're out here. Don't they know what a vacation is?

Oh, you have chosen to travel? [ There's a hint of a smile on her face as she lifts a hand to wave. ] Best of luck to you and... ah, are you babysitting?

_{[Ralph is NOT looking forward to that. He tried to imagine how he'd feel if somebody took his pokemon....his pokemon that weren't Bossy.]}

_{[Ralph turns and starts monkey-ing his way back down the tall tree and lands on the path with a thud.]}

_{[The wrecker turns the gear around to give Saber a grin.]}

Yup, headin' to Violet to meet up with a friend. Maybe look into a job.

_{[At the mention of babysitting, he pulls a face.]}

Noooot exactly? Well, kind of, I guess.

[ She doesn't know anyone in Violet City to help him out, but she'll look into it while he's traveling. Have to help the nice guys after all. ]

I was unaware you had a soft spot for children. Fear not, this world seems to cater to protecting the younger generation. That is why they are encouraged to go out on their own at such a youthful age...

She's from my world. _{[Sort of!]} We gotta stick together.

...You never really struck me as the type to like kids.

Oh, a vacation! That sounds like fun! Where are you headed? The beach?

I think we're going the wrong direction for that. We're just headed up to Violet.

_{[His reply comes once he's sure his travel buddy had not, in fact, been eaten by bears.]}

Yeah? Why?

It's nice isn't it? The great outdoors! It's my favorite part so far. But then again, I was really cooped up for a while before I got here so that might be why.

[A tilt of her head.] Ah... did you lose someone? That's probably not good. I hope they didn't get eaten! [Asahina the optimist.]

Uh...I dunno. You just didn't seem the type.

An admirable cause, but even enemies who are from the same world are capable of befriending each other here...

[ Sounds as though that's a topic she's experienced in. ]

_{[Ralph replies once he's sure his travel buddy didn't wind up a snack for an ursarang.]}

Yeah? What kind of g-- place do you come from? I think I'd go crazy if I didn't get out of the city in the next couple of weeks.

False alarm, she's fine.

_{[Ralph shrugs. He guesses he can't really blame anybody.]}

To be honest, I didn't think I was either. She's alright though.
